The Farm
The organic farm produces numerous food products: our 'basket' varies according to the seasons.
On the land surrounding the villa, there is a planting of mycorrhized plants for the production of summer scorzone truffles. The plants, indigenous species such as downy oak, hornbeam and hazelnut, enhance a natural truffle bed that has been in production for decades.
Since 1985, cattle of the Limousine breed, originally from the Limoges area in the central French massif, have been bred on the farm. This species, which lives in a semi-wild state, is distinguished by the excellent quality of its meat. The cattle are fed only with cereals and fodder produced on the farm.
The family kitchen garden, which produces potatoes, courgettes, tomatoes, lettuce, aubergines, peppers and beans, is at the disposal of guests.
Fruit trees and table grapes are grown on the land in front of the villa.
